The Commissioner of NaCSA Ambassasor Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina, on Wednesday 25th September 2024, paid a courtesy call on the leadership of the West Africa Regional office of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Dakar, Senegal and held a very fruitful programme meeting with the tealm.
The Commissioner engaged the IsDB Regional Hub team on a wide-range of pertinent issues, the including status of implementation of the ongoing IsDB and GoSL funded SLCDD II project and future funding opportunities, especially for President Julius Maada Bio's flagship Feed Salone project. The IsDB West Africa Hub team expressed their satisfaction over NaCSA's management's hardwork and assured the Commissioner of the Bank's readiness to continue working with the Commission and Sierra Leone.
They lauded the Commissioner and his team for doing a great job at the Commission.
On his part, Ambassador Ndomahina, on behalf of H.E. President Julius Maada Bio thanked IsDB for the Bank's long-standing and unwavering support to the development aspirations of Sierra Leone
In attendance at the groundbreaking meeting were;
Dr Nabil Ghalleb, Director of Dakar Regional Hub, Omar Davis, Country Operations Manager, Dakar, Senegal, Ashekur Rahman, Operations Team Leader, Sierra Leone, Gambia and Guinean Bissau,
Country Operations Manager, Codivoire and Guinea, and Asma Bousdira, Project Management Specialist.
A strong and focused leadership, they say, can produce positive and transformational results, which is what Ambassador Ndomahina and the Deputy Commissioner Jimmy Batilo Songa have exemplararily demonstrated in the management of the commission.
