NaCSA Commissioner Donates to Flood Victims in Mange Bureh...

The Commissioner for the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) – Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina on the 8th of October 2024, donated Five Thousand New Leones and Ten Bags of Rice to flood victims in Mange Bureh. Recently, Mange Bureh was adversely affected by flooding which took lives and properties.


In his statement, Amb. Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina sends word of hope to the people of Mange Bureh noting that the donation is done with aspirations to support the people of Mange Bureh and to reecho the unrivalled commitment of His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio to the welfare of all Sierra Leoneans.


*‘’… I am delighted to present to you five Thousand Leones and ten bags of rice as support. I have engaged relevant institutions including the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA).’’* He noted. The Commissioner further thanked the people for their resilience and cautioned that all flood mitigation measures should be adequately followed.


Momoh Juana is the Program Manager for the Sierra Leone Community Demand Driven (SLCDD) Project. In his address, he highlighted some of the challenges faced by the victims. *‘’ We are cognizant of some of the daunting challenges you face but with the current agenda of His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio and with people like Amb. Ernes Mbaimba Ndomahina at the helm of affairs, we are certain that these challenges will be addressed.’’* PM Juana Noted.


In receiving the donation on behalf of the Paramount Chief and the people of Mange Bureh Chiefdom, The speaker, Pa. Alimamy K. Kamara expressed enormous thanks and appreciation. He acknowledged the developmental strides of His Excellency Dr Julius Maada Bio and pleaded with everyone to join forces together in support of the President’s development agenda.
