NaCSA COMMISSIONER CONTINUES THE SYMBOLIC LAUNCH OF THE FOOD SYSTEMS RESILIENCE PROGRAMME (FRSP) PAYMENT TO BENEFICIARIES IN NGIEBU VILLAGE, BAGRUWA CHIEFDOM, MOYAMBA DISTRICT.


The World Bank Group in partnership with the government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security is providing cash transfers to about 12,000 deprived households nationwide. Each beneficiary will receive NLe 2,600 as support. The funds distributed are meant to cushion the economic impact created by the Russia-Ukraine war. NaCSA is ensuring the proper implementation of this project.


The Commisisoner of NaCSA in his quest to realign the commisison’s objective to the Government’s Big Five Game Changers, prioritized the effective implementation of this FSRP.


The Commissioner Ambassador Ernest Ndomahina, alongside the District Coordinator Mrs. Aminata Donnie Vandi, and other NaCSA team members paid a courtesy visit to the Moyamba District Council Chairman Mr. Joseph Gbogba before proceeding to Ngiebu.


The commissioner was warmly received by the people of the Ngiebu community. In his opening statement, Ambassador Ndomahina sent greetings from President Dr. Julius Maada Bio to the people of Ngiebu, he encouraged the beneficiaries to use these funds as support for the FEED SALONE agenda and other household activities.
