*On Monday, January 27, 2025*, Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina, the current Commissioner of the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA), hosted a significant meeting in his 7th-floor office at NaCSA House, located on Charlotte Street. The purpose of this meeting was to welcome Mr. Saidu Conton Sesay, the former Commissioner of NaCSA, who held the position from 2007 to 2014.

During his tenure, Mr. Sesay was instrumental in a variety of initiatives aimed at addressing the challenges faced by war victims in the region. Notably, he played a critical role in implementing a comprehensive reparation program designed to assist those affected by the conflict, among other important projects that sought to foster social cohesion and enhance community development.

As Mr. Sesay arrived, Commissioner Ndomahina extended a warm and sincere welcome, emphasizing the value of fostering continued relationships within the Commission. In his address, he remarked on the importance of Mr. Sesay's past experiences, stating that he is always welcome at NaCSA. This meeting was not merely a courtesy call; it served as a vital knowledge exchange session where both commissioners engaged in a rich and insightful dialogue about their respective journeys and the evolution of the Commission since its establishment in 1996.

*“I am delighted that we are having this conversation,” Commissioner Ndomahina expressed. “Your seven years of service as Commissioner mean that you have a deep understanding of the organizational culture of NaCSA. I believe that maintaining an open-door policy is essential for fostering collaboration, and you are always welcome to come by for any professional discussion.”*

Mr Sesay responded with heartfelt appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by Commissioner Ndomahina. He noted that the visit provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect and share insights about the ongoing work of NaCSA, as well as the significant challenges and successes that have shaped the Commission's history. Both commissioners left the meeting enriched by their discussions, reaffirming their commitment to the mission of NaCSA and the communities they serve.
