It could be recalled that NaCSA is leading the implementation of the Productive Social Safety Net and Youth Employment (PSSNYE) project. The project builds on the successes of the Social Safety Net (SSN) project and aims to target One Hundred Thousand Households across the sixteen districts in Sierra Leone. Beyond its inclusivity, the PSSNYE has been positioned to respond to the aspirations outlined in the *Big Five Game Changers and the national development agenda of His Excellency Dr Julius Maada Bio*
One critical sub-component of the PSSNYE project is the Green Public Works (GPW) implemented by the Freetown City Council. To ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the GPW and part of the Digital Public Workrs, NaCSA and FCC has collaborated.

He further requested the mayor to be pivotal in sharing lessons learned by her municipality with the other municipalities in the districts including the Makeni, Port-loko, New Sembehun, Kenema and Bo municipalities. It’s been decided that these municipalities will implement part of the DPW.
In response, Her Worship the Mayor thanked the Commissioner and staff of NaCSA for supporting works of the municipality and request for continued commitment and collaboration in implementating of the PSSNYE Project.
