Regina Sia Saffa - Director of Programmes
Regina Sia Saffa is a development practitioner; involved in humanitarian and development work for about Two decades in Sub Saharan Africa; notably the Sahel Region and Sierra Leone. She has worked with several agencies including UNICEF, United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (UNICTR), Oxfam Great Britain, Plan International, International Alert, Action Against Hunger- UK and the Embassy of the United States in Sierra Leone.
In her current position, she provides technical oversight for all Five Key Programmes of the Commission. She has strong background in crosscutting development processes such as community engagement, peace building, gender, social protection and emergency response. She speaks fluent French.
Ms. Saffa holds a Master of Arts degree in the Social Sciences from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana – USA.
