Maada Sesi Ngombu – Director of Field Operations
Maada Sesi Ngombu is a development professional with over two decades of work experience spanning – strategic planning; project development and management; private sector development; public policy; and agribusiness development.
Mr Ngombu played a lead role in the organizational restructuring of Sierra Leone’s National Electoral Commission (known today by its acronym, ECSL) and has served as Organisation Development Consultant for both the National Civil Registration Authority and the Human Rights Commission Sierra Leone in their nascent years. He has worked as Technical Advisor in the Ministry of Agriculture, Sierra Leone and has, over the years, provided business development support services for a variety of small and medium agribusinesses.
In addition to his national service, Mr Ngombu has carried out several international assignments, including working as Lead Consultant for ECOWAS, where he successfully steered the development of Plans of Action for the sub-region’s Conflict Prevention Framework. Prior to his stint at ECOWAS, he worked as Project Manager for UNIDO Nigeria, overseeing a regional intervention - Women and Youth as Catalysts for Agribusiness Development and Growth in West and Central Africa.
He is a certified PRINCE2® Practitioner and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, as well as a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development.
